Hi.
Found mine … Hi.
Found mine locally, here in Switzerland. They do appear for sale on eBay from time to time and go for about $2,000. These were 2004 reproductions of the old Märklin 4158 compound engines, which were made in about the 1930s I believe. The 2004 production run was relatively small.
I have looked high … I have looked high and low to find one of these engines for sale, where did you get yours? I think they discontinued them. Do you know of any dealers that still may have a few in stock?
The 16051 was … The 16051 was produced by Märklin in 2004. It was a limited production run, so finding one today is quite difficult, although not impossible. The retail price in 2004 was 1,000 Euros.
